General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • New site links point to old site pages

Hi,
I recently updated from J3 to J4 then to J5 and I am still adjusting things around, so the updated site isn't yet up to speed. The updated site is still on a subdirectory of the main domain's directory.
I just realised that the new site still has links pointing at pages from the older J3 site.
Is there an effective and efficient way to translate/make sure all the links to parts of the new website actually point to parts/pages of same updated website not the old one, without having to do that one by one by hand?
Or should I just leave the as they are so that when I migrate the site to the main directory everything will work without having to make changes again?
However, I see that many other links already point to pages in the new subdirectory, so this change will have to happen anyway sooner or later to make sure the site navigation is consistent. So the question really is how can this be done quickly or even automatically?
